MERIT-SEGRET《 She Swells in the Valley of Kings 》
A goddess whose name means “she who loves silence,” combines the body of a cobra with the head of a woman.
An animal with a human head, which is a common artistic depiction in Ancient Egypt.
As a local deity, Merit-Segret guarded the Valley of the Kings, at the time a village where monarchs were entombed and home to craftsmen who worked there.
Though a dangerous animal, her purpose was to protect the workers in the valley, and also sometimes to punish wrongdoers.
Some even think that she could be the original MEDUSA, or where the Greeks got their story from, considering how poets like Plato stated they travelled to Egypt and learned from scholars there.
Very possible - why not?!
